Without farmers this country would not stand where it does today. Although the farmers here have better commodities each year, unfortunatly so are the other countries. Most are having to borrow money to make ends meet. The mojority of our farmers are selling out, and paying rent to live in their homes. A change needs to come and it needs to came fast or our country will fall greatly to others around us.
ReplyDeleteThe development of the new industrial orcer affected not only workers, but farmers as well. The rapidly growing population in the nation's cities needed to be supplied with food. The farmers responded, each year producing larger crops and more livestock. unfortunately for the farmers, so did farmers from other countrys. The raiload freight prices wnet threw the roof which ment less profit for the all the farmers. But the farmers produced more the prices of those products went down.
ReplyDeletemy family and i have great difficulty trying to make it through the week just like many other families in the near by area. all my children work long hours just for a few dollars. my wife and i barely make enough to put food on the table and have very little time for our family.

Farmers produced larger crops and more livestock each year. unfortunately, farmers in other nations did the same. the prices tumbled as supply exceeded demand. railroad freight pricces continued to spiral upward, as did the cost of new machinery. as farm profits plunged, farmers tried to produce more just to break even. but the greater production only pushed prices even lower.

They don't have enough money to purchase seeds. The money to purchase new parts or equipment. Without them where would we get our corn. The wheat to make bread. Or all other kinds of vegetables. They can barely afford enough for themselves. Farming is there way of life. It is how they survive, they work for a living.
ReplyDeleteThe supply for food has exceeded the demand for it. The crops have lost their value as there is more and more of a supply. The transportation costs are also skyrocketing as the little man can not pay for railroad freight shipping. Our family had to put our farm as security for our loans that we had to take out in order to get better machinery. We may lose the farm if things don't start getting better.

They tried to produce more to break even but that just made the prices go lower. The farmers also have to borrow money to pay for their land and equiptment. ReplyDeleteAll farmers face many problems. The area is getting more populated by the minute and food demand has increased. They have been forced to make more and more food. Soon prices will exceed demand. So how are they supposed to make all this food when the machinery costs so much. They cant afford the machinery they need to make all the food everyone in the world needs. Also all of the farmers have borrowed money to pay for their land or to buy new equipment. Those of them who can not repay will loose their farms. Many will end up as tenant farmers and others will be forced to become farm laborers.

ReplyDeleteIn this day and age, our industrial order is changing. Farmers met the demand for the large immigration, by producing large amounts of food. But now many other nations are doing the same. And the demand for food has decreased. But the more and more the farmers have produced crops, the prices have gone done. Now farmers are going broke, they have no outlet, they are forced to become tenant farmers, or farm laborers.Please help our cause.

ReplyDeleteMany countries are producing more crops,and from this the supply for our American-grown goods are decreasing, which will soon be followed by the price the farmers could charge. This in itself is bad enough, but when you keep increasing the cost for transporting our goods by locomotives, it gets too expensive for us farmers to continue producing crops.
Several of the farmers I know have taken out loans for their equipment, and put up their farms as coallateral. Even some of us have lost our farms because we cannot produce enough crops to pay the loans.
The rapidly growing population in the nation's cities needed to be supplied with food. The farmers reacted with producing foog every year and larger crops with lots of livestock. Other nations also did the same thing. Then prices tumbled as supply excedded demand. But the railroad prices were still the same. As the farmers plunged they tried to just break even. Farm families had to barrow some money. Those with out money lost their land and houses. Some ended up on tenant farms and others had to become farm laborers.
ReplyDeletefarmers face a ton of problems everyday.From equiptment breaking down to not enough moisture to too much moisture. Your eqiuotment is bound to break down at some point in time because your using it all the time and everything is co crammed together during harvest that they may not get everything done they wanted to, to hiring some help. Farmers pray and pray and pray some more for rain in the summer but there is such thing as too much and it can drown your crops out

But with how the economy is and the money problem many of them are losing it because the price is going up for them to sell it. We want help someway to let the farmer's know that you're willing to help us in someway. Other countries are starting to get more livestock and necessities we need because of the new trading business.

ReplyDeleteNow days our farmers are struggling to get out and stay out of debt. They have to borrow money that sometimes they can't pay back. We are the ones that should be bailing them out of this tight spot. After all they make our grains which feed our livestock to give us meat and produce our vegitables, and even help make the clothes on our backs. please help our countries farmers.
