  1. It is interesting that the Republicans took over the House. The fact that Dean Haidle only won by 4 votes shows that everyone has a voice. I think people don't have a right to complain about the government if they don't vote. If you don't like the way it is run, you should do all you can to fix it, including vote.

  2. It is very interesting how the republicans took over.and looking at the local elections it is interesting how oy 50% of voters showed it is kinda of sad to see that because if a few more people would have voted it could have changed everything. I agree with darcie.

  6. i think that it a good deal that the republicans took over the house of representatives. also i think it is a good thing that the democrats have senate and the republicans have the house of reps. to equalize the power in the whitehouse.

Zane i agree that it was a good thing that the republicans took the house b/c we were needing a change in government.

Jessica i agree with you that elections might have been changed if every body registered to vote voted.

  7. Yes, the repubicans took over as I thought. But we only won by 4 votes. Everyone has a say in this voting progress so I think that if your old enogh to vote DO IT because it makes a big differents as shown in this election on how the republicans won by just 4 votes.

  8. I like Darcies because of when she said that " People dont have a right to complain about the government if they dont vote". And i think that is right to say because when we seen on CNN that people were complaining let alone they didnt vote thats just stupid if they dont like it then vote and try to change it!!!!!!!

  11. As Mr. Hinman had said that only a little over 50% voted is sad because that could of changed alot of the positions. Its amazing how you have to have so many chairs to be able to take over the senate or congress.

Darcie: I think you are correct; alot of people don't vote because they don't like the government so why not vote and change it.

Zane: i think it is good that the Republicans took over so that the PResident and the democrats does not get too out of hand.

  15. i think that it is agood thing that the republicans took over the house. because the democrats have had the house and they have done nothing. so hopefully the republicans will do something in the house. i like what darcie said that if you dont like the way the government is then you should vote.

  16. i found it odd that the republicas took the house but not the senate. i wonder what obama and the demicrates will try to get passed the his last two years of presidency. i congradulate all winners and better luck next time to the losers!
