I read the article about the complex. The house was 8 times the size of surrounding houses. It was valued at $1 million but had no telephone lines running.

ReplyDelete2- my article was on wheather or not al qaeda can survive without osama. they think that the group will suffer very badly.
3- i cannot see how it would destroy the group but i thinkthat without their leader, they will not try any 9-11 like attacks.
2)Bin Laden was hiding in a town where Pakistan had a military base. Pakistan said they had no idea on where he was but he was right by their countrys capitol.

1) Some people thought that Al Queada has been detroyed, but some people think that is is thriving.

3- I don't think it will affect al qaeda as bad as they make it sound. Although they might not plan any big disasters like the twin tower's.

ReplyDeleteOsama bin laden was hiding in a town in pakistan. It was near the capital. The house was way bigger than any of the other houses around. He had been there for awahile and no one really knew he was there. THe house had no telephone or anything like that. He had couriers working for him.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite question is Will Obama benifit politically from Bin Laden's death? James Lindsay predicts he will get a boost but it will be very short-lived.
For Obama there was no choice in killing him yet I think he is taking to much credit. I'm sure the president was not the master mind of the project and he certainly was not the man that killed this terrorist. So I agree with the author Lindsay and say he will get some credit but surely it will die down.
2) The article Looking Beyond bin Laden talks about how this is not the end of the war it is not a turning point, Yesit is a milestone, but we still have a ways to go before the war on terror is over. Bin Laden was a great power and an icon the al qaeda but there icon is now destroyed.
ReplyDelete3) i think that this article is exactly right. This is not the end. I think that the Al Qaeda may try to attack but will not suceed because they no longer have the one person that could get past the U.S.
2. The article i read was what did packastan know. It talked about how the place the ben ladin was staying was very close to Packastans capital. And how the place he was staying at should of attrackted the military.
ReplyDelete3. i think that Packastan knew the bin ladin was there but they just didnt say anything to us because packastan has a corrupt government.
It talks about how we need to be careful about what is said and that we need to watch out selves because we dont knoe what the other terrousts are thinking about doing. Also it talks about that the people want to know what is going on and what all happened and that we want proof about it.

Obamas strategy for the killing of Osama bin Laden aparently was a good plan because he is dead now. I just hope now that their leader is dead they dont retaleate and try to get back at us. i am glade that Obama is also thinking about what might happen and that he needs to think of a stategy to deal with that also. i think that we need to lay off the whole idea that Osama is dead even know that we are so thankful and realeved we just need to take in consideration what Osamas people can do now that they are mad that we killed their leader.
ReplyDeletei am happy that he is dead because that is one thing off our shoulders but i dont like how we are celebrating that he is dead for days. it is still a death.
