ReplyDelete1. The U.S. had to face some huge obstacles when entering the war. They had to fight two diffrent armies in two diffrent parts of the world. Also they had to prep the country for war and be prepared.

3. D-Day because the allies put troops back in European soil. From there they pushed the German forces farther and father back into Europe. Also the Battle of the Bulge was also very successful for the allies. With there backs against the wall the Germans tried one last chance at a counter offensive. They lost and the allies had stoped the axis for good

1. D-Day the American's lost so many soliders, after losing that many in a short period of time it's hard to come back from something like that.

1) Well first off, the U.S. was just coming out a the Great Depression, so that didn't really help matters by any means. In addition the Axis Powers--Germany, Italy, and Japan--had already established firm secure in the areas they'd previously invaded. The U.S. had to fight every step of the way to free the countries the Axis Powers had taken captive. Our armed forces were split up between Europe and the Pacific and we weren't prepared for what was to come.
