After years of struggle and sacrifice, World War II ended in victory for the Allies. But the price was high. The toll in lives and property was without precedent. Most alarming was the knowledge fully revealed only after the defeat of Germany that Hitler had tried to exterminate all the Jews of Europe. Along with peace came many uncertainties about the future.

1) Some of the cost of WWII were setting up war factors and sending supplies including food and guns over to the soliders. It also cost money to pay for gas for the boats and air crafts.

Also while some countries were fighting in the war, others were busy trying to make sure they had enough supplies for their own countries while also worrying about being took over and robbed.

1.) An incredible number of lives were lost on both sides during the war. Also, the property in Europe was all but destroyed. The constant bombing left the countryside almost a wasteland. There was also alot of money spent on the war.

1) Some of the costs of the war included the number of civilian and combatant personell. Europe and Japan were destroyed nearly completely. Many historic buildings had been destroyed. Along with tons of artwork was missing or destroyed after the Nazis plundered every country they invaded.
ReplyDelete2) Well, Germany's economy was gone. All of Japan's territory was taken from them. Their entire country destroyed. The after effects of the war were, Russia was now confident in their powerful army so they started a Nuclear program. Since both Allies and Russia took over Berlin at the same time. Berlin was divided into two by the great Berlin wall.
